In May of 2009, as part of a 9 day wildlife trip to the south of India, I spent 3 days and nights in BR Hills. BR Hills suprised me. I loved the fact that you stay deep in the forest and that the park is in the hills. I was still on a mission to see leopard and bear and no luck there. But we had a fantastic morning with a pair of wild dog and then another great morning with a small family of elephants taking a water and mud bath. BR Hills is an underrated place. Great sightings, no crowds, and the ability to stay inside the forest and experience all the sounds that come with that.
