In July of 1991, my family took a safari to Tanzania and Kenya. We were immensely fortunate with what we got to see. In 2 1/2 weeks we saw almost everything you could hope for on a safari, and a lot of it we just got very lucky. We saw leopards in a tree, with a kill, and babies. We saw 10 rhino. We saw multiple elephant babies. We saw a cheetah making a kill - full chase. We saw wild dog, which are very endangered. We had a cheetah jump on to the hood of our vehicle and stay there for about 45 minutes. We saw a black mamba snake, the most poisonous in Africa. We saw huge herds of buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra. We had monkeys steal cookies from our room. Everything just worked out so well. While in Tanzania, we visited Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro crater. In Kenya we went to Amboseli, the Masai Mara, Mount Kenya Safari Club, and the Ark tree lodge. We took over 30 rolls of film. Here are some of those.
