In December of 2003, Niyati and I headed way south to Patagonia, basically the southern region of Chile and Argentina, and as far south as you can go on land until you come to Antarctica. We spent about 7 days in Chile and 7 days in Argentina, visiting National Parks, working farms, and wildlife refuges. We did some tough hiking, some horseback riding, whale watching, hung out with penguins and elephant seals, and saw some awesome glaciers. A highly recommended trip.
