This one was probably the best one ever. We had a great group, tons of new snow, two incredible mountains, and a great village to party in. Greg and I found ourselves on top of an 8-10 foot cliff in the woods. Our options were to go over it or hike back out, and going over was a much more attractive option. Upon landing, Greg's skis came shooting off like torpedos, and I was lucky to be just out of the way.
I also found myself actually having skied into a tree about 6 feet up in the branches. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I literally had to ski on the branches and through the tree to get out. Dave got a picture.
